By prior agreement, we may also accept clean, usable clothing and suitable items for donation, community giveaway or another useful home.

All purchases, collections and donations are subject to assessment. Modeshy is not a rubbish-removal service and cannot accept damaged, unsafe or unusable goods.

THE COMMUNITY PROJECT

Clean, wearable clothing accepted by Modeshy but not selected for resale may be donated, given directly to local community members or reserved for a future free clothing giveaway.

Our goal is to collect enough suitable clothing to hold regular free clothing giveaways for Gympie residents, helping local individuals and families access good-quality clothing at no cost.

Giveaway dates, locations and frequency will depend on the amount of suitable clothing available and will be announced once arrangements are confirmed.

To ensure clothing is suitable for resale, donation or community giveaway, all accepted items must be:

Clean

Freshly laundered and free from strong odours.

In Good Wearable Condition

Free from major stains, holes, excessive wear, broken zips or other significant damage.

Ready for Another Owner

Safe, durable and suitable to be worn again.

Modeshy cannot accept rubbish, heavily damaged clothing or items that are unsuitable for reuse.

Join our Donate a dress program

We are currently in the exciting process of setting up our "Donate a Dress" program, a dedicated initiative designed to empower women in need by providing beautiful attire for life's special moments. To ensure these garments reach those who need them most, we are partnering with respected organisations such as The Women’s Hub. Once launched, members of our partner groups will be able to browse our collection using a unique access code, with the only cost being a flat $12.50 shipping fee. We are now gratefully accepting donations of formal gowns and wedding dresses to build our inaugural collection.
